Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care India Global Hub is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA S2P specialist focused on Accounts Payables and Vendor Invoice Management. You will drive solution design, ensure process stability, and collaborate with multiple IT and business teams across geographies.

The role requires strong configuration skills in Archive Document types, ICC/BCC, IES/IC4S, and COA, with a proven track record in procure-to-pay workflows and analytics enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Archive Document type and DP document type with business rules for validations.
• Knowledge of Invoice approval workflow and VIM DP workflow.
• Complete COA maintenance for requester and approval processes based on cost center and expense types.
• Define roles based on actors in procure-to-pay, maintain role templates and fields.
• Role determination and exception handling for validation workflows.
• Configure ICC/BCC validation, archive document type and validation framework.
• Configure IES profile and validation, archive document type, and validation framework.
• Enhance VIM analytics reports with custom logic and additional selection options.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements to design and deliver SAP S/4HANA S2P solutions.
• Participate in S/4HANA rollout to other BUs and geographies.
• Collaborate with ITS, GBS, Enterprise Excellence and externals to deliver solutions.

Requirement

This role is responsible for providing expert level functional and technical support for SAP S/4HANA Source to Pay (S2P) processes, with a primary focus on Account Payables and Vendor Invoice Management, and integration with S/4HANA in the Sustain Operations environment. The role ensures continuous process improvement, system stability, solution optimization, and alignment with enterprise-wide strategic objectives through best-in-class SAP S2P solutions.

Tasks performed regularly which form the essential characteristics of the position

• Understand business requirements to design and deliver the appropriate solutions.
• Participate in the S/4 HANA roll out to other BUs and geographies.
• Collaborate with other ITS, GBS etc. teams or Enterprise Excellence teams and externals to deliver appropriate solutions to the business.
• Oversee tracking & resolution for production support issues, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements (BAU), managing escalations, and providing regular status updates to project leadership.

Required professional experience (in years)

Please list the minimum number of years of professional experience required, as well as all relevant experience in specific functions, e.g. project management or line management experience.

• Worked on configuration of Archive Document type creation, DP document type with- Business rules: Developed & configured many business rules in various open text documents to perform validations.
• Workflow: Knowledge about Invoice approval workflow, VIM DP workflow, Blocking workflow.
• Chart of authority (COA): Complete knowledge of the COA maintenance for Requestor and approval process based on cost center, expense types etc.
• Roles: Defining the roles based on the various actors involved in procure to payment cycle, Maintaining role templates and corresponding fields configuration.
• Role determination & Exception handling: Created many functional modules to perform validation for roles determination and validation agents.
• Open Text Invoice Capture Center (ICC/BCC) with VIM: Configured ICC/BCC validation, created ICC/BCC archive document type, defining validation framework.
• Open Text Invoice Extraction Services (IES / IC4S) with VIM: Configured IES profile & validation, created IES archive document type, defining validation framework.
• VIM analytics reports enhancement: Enhanced analytics report by additional columns based on custom logic, added sub screen with additional selection options IDOC channel id mapping for 3rd party OCR.
