Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance data flows using SAP CI-DS.
• Design, build, and maintain data extraction/load jobs to SAP IBP.
• Perform CI-DS upgrades, impact analysis, and post-upgrade validation.
• Provide AMS-style incident management, monitoring, and optimization.
• Assist in source system migrations (ECC/S/4HANA).
• Document interfaces, flows, and upgrade activities.

Role Overview

We are looking for an SAP CI-DS Integration Specialist to join our IBP AMS team, focusing on integration and data pipeline support between SAP IBP, ECC/S/4HANA, and BW. The role will play a key part in integration stability, CI-DS system upgrades, and source system migrations, ensuring reliable data flows into IBP.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI-DS).
• Design, build, customize, and maintain data extraction and load jobs from source systems to SAP IBP.
• Perform and support CI-DS system upgrades, including impact analysis, regression testing, and post-upgrade validation.
• Provide integration support as part of the IBP AMS model, including incident management, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Participate in source system migrations, especially ECC S/4HANA, ensuring seamless data continuity.
• Implement and manage custom transformations and mappings in CI-DS.
• Collaborate with IBP functional teams to understand data requirements and integration dependencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across CI-DS, IBP, and BW layers.
• Support testing cycles, deployments, and transport-related activities for integration changes.
• Maintain technical documentation for interfaces, flows, custom logic, and upgrade activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CI-DS, including:
  • Building and maintaining data flows
  • Running and supporting customizations
  • Job scheduling, monitoring, and error handling
• Experience in upgrading CI-DS systems, including validation and stabilization activities.
• Good experience supporting SAP IBP integration scenarios.
• High-level understanding of SAP IBP architecture, data models, and key planning processes.
• experience working with SAP ERP source systems.
• ECC to S/4HANA migration experience is a strong plus.
• Experience working in an AMS / support engagement.
