Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP CIDS (Cloud Integration for Data Services) Consultant to join our team for both support and rollout projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrating SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and SAP S/4HANA PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) systems, working with SAP cloud-based integration solutions, and ensuring seamless data flow between these applications. In this role, you will manage the integration of data between SAP IBP and S4 PPDS, play a crucial part in cloud integration, and ensure that data exchange processes run smoothly. You will also provide support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the rollout of new features and capabilities within the integration architecture.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage data integration scenarios between SAP IBP and S4 PPDS using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CIDS).
• Implement and configure integration flows, both inbound and outbound, between the cloud and on-premise systems.
• Develop and maintain integration solutions to ensure smooth data transfer and consistency across the SAP landscape.
• Ensure secure and reliable data transfer between SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP, handling business-critical data flows.
• Install, configure, and maintain SAP Cloud Connector and Integration Agents for communication between cloud and on-premise systems.
• Set up secure connectivity between SAP CIDS, IBP, and S4 PPDS systems ensuring minimal downtime and robust performance.
• Manage SSL certificates for secure communication across integration interfaces.
• Maintain and troubleshoot certificate-related issues to ensure smooth data exchange and adherence to security standards.
• Provide ongoing support for the integration environment, including incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of integration issues.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify issues and improve data integration workflows.
• Assist in the rollout of SAP CIDS in new environments or for new business processes.
• Support the migration of existing data and configurations to cloud-based environments during system upgrades or transitions.
• Create detailed technical documentation for integration setups, configurations, and processes.
• Prepare regular status updates and reports for internal stakeholders and management.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth data flow between various SAP modules (IBP, S4 PPDS) and third-party systems.
• Participate in project planning, design, and review sessions for new integration requirements.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise

• SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CIDS): In-depth understanding and hands‑on experience with SAP CIDS for integration between cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Integration Knowledge: Strong experience with various integration tools and protocols such as WebSocket, REST APIs, OData, etc.
• Agent Installation and Configuration: Experience in installing and configuring SAP Cloud Connector, Integration Agents, and other necessary components.
• SAP IBP & S4 PPDS Integration: Knowledge of data flow and integration between SAP IBP and S4 PPDS for both inbound and outbound processes.
• Security Management: Expertise in handling SSL certificates, encryption, and secure communication between systems.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud architecture and integration, including SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Integration Suite, or similar platforms.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Proven experience in troubleshooting integration issues, resolving incidents, and ensuring high availability of integration systems.
• Project Implementation & Rollout: Experience in managing or supporting SAP implementation and rollout projects, particularly in integration‑related tasks.
• Proficiency in SAP CPI‑DS for integration and data transformation tasks.
• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services (CPI‑DS) to connect SAP IBP with S/4HANA, SAP BW, and other external systems.
• Strong understanding of SAP IBP configuration and integration points with other systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW).
• Knowledge of SAP HANA database and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience with SAP Data Services for handling ETL processes.
• Knowledge of integration agent configurations in S4 HANA.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience in designing and developing integration solutions using SAP BTP‑IS tools and technologies, such as SAP Cloud Integration or SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO).
• Expertise in programming languages like Java, Groovy, or JavaScript, as well as knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and standard adapters (e.g., HTTPS, sFTP, Mail, JMS, Process Direct).
• Experience using Integration or BTP features like API Management, Event Mesh, REST/SOAP/OData, Integration Advisor and Open Connectors.
• Expertise in Upgrade, Migration, Implementation and Production Support Projects, along with a keen passion to stay up to date with latest technologies.

Qualifications
