Job summary

VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is seeking an experienced SAP BW4HANA & Datasphere Developer to join the AI & Data Service Tower (AIDA) within Corporate Analytics. Based in Pune, you will design and deliver enterprise reporting and analytics solutions, collaborating with global stakeholders to support end-to-end solution delivery across Finance, Logistics and HR domains.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on BW4HANA/DataSphere experience, strong SQL skills, and experience with BW4HANA

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of SAP BW4HANA and Datasphere development
• Strong expertise in SAP BW4HANA, SAP HANA and Datasphere
• Strong SQL knowledge for reporting in Finance, Logistics and HR
• Experience with Composite Providers, ADSOs and CDS View-based DataSources
• Hands-on ABAP and SQL Script experience
• Good understanding of SDLC
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Graduate or Postgraduate qualification in Engineering or a technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Prepare requirement specifications and develop new reports aligned with business needs.
• Design and develop reporting and analytics solutions using SAP BW4HANA and Datasphere.
• Create and implement end-to-end technical specifications.
• Develop, test and validate solutions through unit testing and product testing activities.
• Support user acceptance testing and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Participate in cutover, deployment and hyper-care activities.
• Build and design reporting solutions using SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere and SAP HANA technologies.
• Develop and work with new BW4HANA objects including Composite Providers, ADSOs and CDS View-based DataSources.
• Utilise ABAP, SQL and SQL Script to develop, enhance and optimise reporting solutions.
• Work across multiple projects while managing priorities effectively.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, process gaps and technical debt.
• Engage with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority and technical expertise.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies and business capabilities.

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW4HANA & Datasphere Developer to join the AI & Data Service Tower (AIDA) within Corporate Analytics. This role offers an opportunity to design and deliver enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using SAP BW4HANA, SAP HANA and Datasphere technologies. Who You Are

Essential Experience and Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP BW4HANA and Datasphere development
• Strong expertise in SAP BW4HANA, SAP HANA and Datasphere
• Strong SQL knowledge with experience supporting reporting solutions in Finance, Logistics and HR domains
• Proven implementation experience in SAP BW4HANA and Datasphere
• Hands-on experience building and designing enterprise reporting solutions
• Hands-on experience with ABAP and SQL Script
• Experience working with Composite Providers, ADSOs, CDS View-based DataSources and other BW4HANA objects
• In-depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond proactively and effectively to risks and issues
• Graduate or Postgraduate qualification, preferably in Engineering or a technical discipline
