Job summary

Vodafone VOIS seeks an experienced SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA & Datasphere Developer to join the AI & Data Service Tower (AIDA) – Corporate Analytics team. You will design, develop and deploy end-to-end analytics and data warehousing solutions while collaborating with a global set of stakeholders.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA and Datasphere experience, ABAP and SQL Script expertise, and SDLC proficiency. Telecom analytics exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP PaPM, SAP BW/BW4HANA and Datasphere development.
• Proven implementation experience in SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Hands-on expertise in ABAP development and SQL Script.
• Experience building and designing reporting and analytics solutions using SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Experience with SDLC in a large, global organisation is desirable.

About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA & Datasphere Developer to join the AI & Data Service Tower (AIDA) – Corporate Analytics team. This role offers an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions, leveraging SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA and Datasphere technologies to support critical business functions across Finance, Logistics and HR. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, testing and deploying end-to-end reporting and data warehousing solutions while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders in a global environment.

What you’ll do

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Design and develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions using SAP PaPM, SAP BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Develop and implement end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Build, enhance and maintain reporting solutions across Finance, Logistics and HR domains.
• Develop data models, data flows and reporting structures in BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Create and enhance SAP BW/4HANA objects including Composite Providers, ADSOs and CDS View-based DataSources.
• Develop technical components using ABAP and SQL Script.
• Perform unit testing and support integrated product testing activities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve defects within agreed timelines.
• Participate in deployment, cutover and hyper-care activities.
• Identify process improvements, technical debt and optimisation opportunities.
• Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality outputs while working across multiple projects and priorities.

Who you are

Essential Experience

• 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP PaPM, SAP BW/BW4HANA and Datasphere development.
• Proven implementation experience in SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, Datasphere and SAP PaPM.
• Experience building and designing reporting and analytics solutions using SAP PaPM, BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Hands‑on expertise in ABAP development and SQL Script.
• Experience working with modern BW/4HANA objects such as Composite Providers, ADSOs and CDS View‑based DataSources.
• Experience supporting the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
