Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited seeks a Senior SAP BW/4HANA Consultant to design, build and support enterprise data warehousing on BW/4HANA. You will own delivery from source extraction through modelling to consumption in reporting tools, coordinating with stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, finance and sales.

The role requires hands-on BW/4HANA, ABAP/AMDP, HANA modelling and data extraction from SAP and non-SAP sources.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in SAP BW/4HANA with hands-on experience
• BW/4HANA objects: ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, transformations, DTPs

SAP BW/4HANA Consultant (Senior), hands-on experience to design, build and support enterprise data warehousing on SAP BW/4HANA, working with supply chain, manufacturing, finance and sales stakeholders. Owns delivery from source extraction through modelling to consumption in reporting tools (AFO, BOBJ, Power BI) and sets modelling standards for the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build BW/4HANA objects: ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, InfoObjects, transformations and DTPs.
• Develop HANA-native calculation views, table functions and SQL script procedures for mixed modelling scenarios.
• Build extraction from S/4HANA, ECC and non-SAP sources via ODP, SLT, SDI/SDA and files, including delta and reconciliation logic.
• Convert business reporting requirements into functional and technical specifications with clear data lineage.
• Own work packages end to end: estimation, build, testing, cutover and hypercare, plus process chain monitoring and incident resolution.
• Tune loads and queries, enforce naming, transport and authorization standards.
