Job summary

Fractal Analytics seeks an SAP BW specialist to provide L2/L3 production support for SAP BW/BW on HANA/BW/4HANA environments. You will monitor data loads, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate transports with Basis, ABAP, and functional teams.

You will develop end-to-end BW flows, enhance reports, perform BW inventory assessments, document dependencies, and participate in governance and migration planning for BW modernization.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BW production support and enhancements.
• BW inventory assessment, system documentation, or modernization projects is desirable.
• Exposure to BW migration or BW exit initiatives is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP BW/BW on HANA/BW/4HANA environments.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to Process Chains, Data Loads, DTPs, InfoPackages, and data extraction.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, load failures, authorization issues, and reporting problems.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
• Coordinate transports across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Work with Basis, ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams.

Job Description

SAP BW Support & Maintenance

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP BW/BW on HANA/BW/4HANA environments.

• Monitor and resolve issues related to Process Chains, Data Loads, DTPs,InfoPackages, and data extraction.

• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, load failures, authorization issues, and reporting problems.

• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

• Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities.

• Monitor BW job performance andoptimizedata loading processes.

• Coordinate transports across Development, QA, and Production environments.

• Work closely with Basis, ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams.

Enhancements & Development

• Develop andmaintainthe end-to-end flow in the BW system

• Develop and troubleshoot Start, End, Field, and Expert Routines.

• SupportBExQueries and reporting enhancements.

• Perform performance tuning of BW objects and queries.

BW Inventory Assessment & Rationalization

• Perform comprehensive inventory of SAP BW landscapes.

• Document BW objects

• Analyzeobject dependencies and end-to-end data lineage.

• Identifyunused, obsolete, and redundant BW objects.

• Support application rationalization and BW cleanup initiatives.

• Document custom developments and embedded business logic.

• Assistin preparing migration readiness assessments for BW modernization/BW exit programs.

Documentation & Governance

• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

• Maintain inventory reports and dependency documentation.

• Participate in architecture reviews and modernization workshops.

• Ensure adherence to development standards and governance processes.
