Job summary

Percipere is seeking a SAP BW/4HANA Consultant for Mumbai with 6+ years of experience. You will design, develop, and support enterprise data warehousing solutions, integrate BW/4HANA with cloud data platforms, and work across MM, SD, PP, and Finance domains in multiple industries.

Key duties include ETL development, data modeling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including SAP Basis, ABAP, and Business Users. Strong BODS/BDC exposure essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of BW/4HANA experience and at least 2 years of BDC implementation and support.
• Design seamless data pipelines connecting BW/4HANA with BDC environments.
• Develop complex InfoProviders, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS views.
• Good understanding of SAP logistics, Finance modules/tables/views/extract structures.
• Strong ABAP basics and knowledge of SAP BODS, SLT, or SDA/SDI.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.

Job Title- SAP BW/4 HANA Consultant

Role Requirement: We are seeking a highly skilled and technically strong SAP BW/4HANA Consultant with hands‑on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise data warehousing solutions while ensuring seamless integration between SAP BW/4HANA and cloud-based data platforms. We need an all‑round SAP BI consultant who apart from BW/4HNA has consulting expertise for BDC/ Datasphere in logistics (MM, SD, PP and Finance and controlling (PC, PA at the least) domain and atleast in 3-4 different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for tracking key project activities at a detailed level including administrative items associated with a complex technical SAP deployment.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot daily/ periodic data load failures across both SAP BW/4HANA Process Chains and BDC data streams.
• Formulates recovery plans or assessing impact if not recoverable and escalates as appropriate. Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data models, Info Providers, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.
• Develop and optimize ETL/data loading processes using SAP BW tools. Create and enhance HANA Calculation Views, Attribute Views, and Analytical Views.
• Build and manage data extraction from SAP and non‑SAP source systems.
• Perform data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting solution development.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop and support SAP BW Queries and reporting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BO, or other reporting tools.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, data loads, and query execution.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including SAP Basis, ABAP, Functional Consultants and Business Users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of BW/4HANA and atleast 2 years of Business Data Cloud (BDC) implementation and support experience.
• Design of seamless data pipelines connecting SAP BW/4HANA with Business Data Cloud (BDC) environments.
• Develop complex Info Providers, Advanced Datastore Objects (ADSOs), Composite Providers, and Open ODS views.
• Should have technical understanding of SAP logistics, Finance modules/ tables/ views/ extract structures.
• Should have good understanding of SAP ABAP.
• Should have good understanding of SAP BODS, SLT, or SDA/SDI.
• Optimize query execution, data tiering strategies, and cloud extraction throughput to minimize latency.
• Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud is an added advantage.
