Job summary

Electrosteel Group in India seeks an SAP Business One specialist to implement, configure and support SAP B1 across Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory. The role blends functional and technical duties with a focus on HANA, REST API integrations, and reporting tools.

You will analyse processes, drive data migration, and deliver dashboards and add-on integrations while coordinating with global teams for smooth go-live and ongoing enhancements.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of SAP B1 implementation/support experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP B1 modules and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in SQL, Crystal Reports, and SAP B1 administration.
• Experience with SAP HANA, B1 iF, DTW, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP B1 Service Layer (REST API) for web integrations.
• Experience with Add-on development or integration.
• SAP B1 Certification preferred.
• Exposure to manufacturing/retail/distribution domains.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Qualification requirements:

• Academic/Professional Qualification:

SAP B1 Certification (Preferred)

• Length of Experience: 4-8 years as SAP B1 Techno-Functional Consultant
• Technical skill required:
• Deep understanding of the SAP B1 HANA architecture
• Familiarity with Service Layer and Web Client
• Knowledge of SAP B1 Software Development Kit (SDK), SQL queries, HANA Dashboard and Crystal Reports.
• Strong SQL scripting skills (especially for SAP HANA SQL)
• Understanding of SAP B1 Service Layer (REST API) for web integrations.
• Excellent proB1em-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Add-on development or integration.

Role Purpose:

To provide functional and technical support for the SAP Business One (SAP B1) ERP systems across the Company's overseas subsidiaries, ensuring smooth business operations, process standardization, system optimization and timely issue resolution. The role will coordinate with global business users, implementation partners and internal IT teams to support ERP enhancements, integrations, reporting, statutory compliance, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for SAP Business One across foreign subsidiaries.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP B1 modules (Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production).
• Resolve user issues and coordinate with implementation partners/vendors.
• Support ERP enhancements, integrations, reporting, and data management.
• Conduct user training, prepare documentation, and ensure process standardization.
• Ensure system availability, compliance, and smooth business operations.
