Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) consultant to independently drive solution delivery with minimal supervision. You will gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, configure PP/QM, and lead integrations, testing, and deployment in a large ERP environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP PP and QM consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP PP: MRP, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, Master Data Management.
• Experience with ECC and SAP S/4HANA PP/QM implementations and support projects.
• Solid understanding of integration between PP/QM and MM/SD/EWM/PM.
• Experience in business process design, solution configuration, testing, and production support.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.

Role Overview

Candidates should be able to work independently in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules and lead solution delivery with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and perform Fit-Gap Analysis for SAP PP and QM processes.
• Configure and enhance SAP PP and QM solutions to meet business requirements.
• Design, implement, and support complex integrations, interfaces, reports, and extensions.
• Support large-scale SAP ERP environments while adhering to established standards and best practices.
• Lead and support data migration, validation, and conversion activities.
• Prepare and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Develop cutover plans and support deployment activities.
• Conduct end-user and super-user training and prepare training documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including the ability to present, listen, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Prioritize issues and business requirements effectively and deliver solutions within aggressive timelines.

• Capable of personally diving deep when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated timeframe.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor s or Masters in Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of hands-on SAP PP and QM consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP Production Planning, including: Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Shop Floor Control, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, Master Data Management
• Strong expertise in SAP Quality Management, including: Inspection Planning, Quality Notifications, Quality Certificates, Quality Audits, Vendor Quality Management
• Experience with ECC and SAP S/4HANA PP and QM implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
• Strong understanding of integration points between PP/QM and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, EWM, and PM.
• Experience in business process design, solution configuration, testing, and production support.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.

Desired Skills

• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.
• Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing, MES integrations, or shop-floor systems.
• Understanding of SAP PP integration with other modules and Serialization processes.
• Experience with EDI/API-based integrations and SAP integration technologies.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, consumer products, industrial products, or automotive industries.
• SAP PP and/or QM certification is preferred

This position is based in Bangalore, India, with a hybrid work arrangement and minimal anticipated travel.
