Job summary

Planning Partners in Hyderabad seeks an experienced SAP BTP ABAP Consultant with hands-on SAP BTP and ABAP development to design, develop, integrate, and support SAP applications across S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise environments.

The ideal candidate will master ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData, Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, with strong debugging and integration skills, and be ready to join immediately.

Qualifications

• Mandatory SAP BTP, ABAP, and ABAP on HANA expertise.
• Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, CAP/CAPM and CDS Views is required.
• Familiarity with OData, REST APIs and SAP S/4HANA is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP applications and custom developments.
• Work on SAP BTP-based extensibility and application development.
• Develop and support applications on SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise.
• Work with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData and APIs.
• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Work on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and CAP/CAPM applications.
• Configure and work with BTP services including HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Destinations and Workflow.
• Develop integrations with third-party and non-SAP systems.
• Work with REST APIs, OAuth and other integration technologies.
• Handle ABAP development including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms.
• Work on IDocs, Proxies, Workflows and HANA-related activities.
• Perform ABAP debugging, code reviews, code inspections and unit testing.
• Prepare technical specifications and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, senior developers and other stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• 510 years of overall experience with strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP + ABAP.
• Experience in custom object development using ABAP on HANA.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, OData and integrations.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP ABAP certification will be an advantage.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
