Job summary

Ekloud Data Labs is seeking an SAP BTP ABAP consultant to tackle core customer issues and design innovative solutions. You will work as a full stack developer for SAP S/4HANA cloud and on‑premise deployments, delivering high-quality custom developments with clean code and efficient performance.

You will collaborate with architects and senior developers, prepare technical docs, and ensure timely, quality deliverables while leveraging SAP BTP portals and Launchpad services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MCA or equivalent
• SAP ABAP certification is required
• 5–10 years of SAP ABAP development and deployment experience
• Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, and CDS/ODATA
• Experience integrating with REST/OAuth protected APIs
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform services (HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Work Zone) and SAP UI5/Fiori adaptations

What's this role about?

As an SAP BTP ABAP consultant, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues,

diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.

You will work as a full stack developer for development of state-of-the-art software applications in SAP

S/4HANA cloud and On Premise.

Here's how you'll contribute:

In this role, you will demonstrate responsibility for all SAP ABAP development tasks and ensure

completion of custom developments with good quality, on time delivery and efficiency. You will

Apply clean code principles: execute code reviews, code inspections, unit testing, performance

measurements and other quality tasks.

Perform development tasks in a self-reliant way.

Work closely with Architect, Senior Developers and other stakeholders to achieve effective

design and code reviews.

Author software design and technical documentation.

Skills required to contribute:

Experience in Supporting SAP Extensibility Explorer through SAP Business Technology Platform

Experience in Supporting SAP ABAP development tasks with customizations to CDS views, Fiori

apps, support and maintain O data services and API services

Requires minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in developing, deploying and configuring

applications on Cloud Foundry using SAP CAPM.

Experience creating and configuring launch pad sites using BTP portal service/Launchpad

Service/Work Zone.

Knowledge of BTP services like workflow management, Hana cloud, XSUAA, Document Service

etc & configuring destinations to cloud and on-premise systems and using them in applications.

Knowledge about platform operations like Identity Provider configuration, assertion-based

mapping for authorization, role collection configuration etc.

Experience consuming OAuth protected REST APIs in applications.

Knowledge of Java or Node JS programming language.

Experience in SAP Cloud Platform, SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori is required.

Should have excellent technical skills in Reports, Forms, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements

etc.

Experience on skills ODATA, IDOC & Proxies, Workflow, HANA checks/HANA Migration etc.

Should be well versed with Object Oriented (OO) concepts of SAP ABAP.

Excellent knowledge of ABAP Debugging, SAP Code inspector & other SAP standard tools with

respect to development

The candidate should be certified in SAP ABAP.

gThe candidate must have hands on SAP ABAP programming experience for at least 5 to 8 years.

The candidate must have hands on experience in custom object development using SAP ABAP on

HANA.

Should have hands on experience in Integrations with third party applications & non-SAP

systems.

The candidate should have working experience in UI5, Fiori, Workflow, ADOBE / smart forms.

The candidate must have experience in preparation of Technical specifications.

Should have good communication skills.
