Job summary

Persistent Systems in Hyderabad is seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Objects Administrator to design, develop, administer, and support enterprise BI solutions. You will manage SAP BO environments, ensure security, perform tuning, and coordinate with SAP Support to resolve issues.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on SAP BO administration, experience with CMC/CMS, WebI, Crystal Reports, BI LaunchPad, and Universe Management, plus strong SQL and database knowledge on Windows/Linux servers.

Qualifications

• BE/MBA/BCA/MCA or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Administration.
• Strong experience with SAP BO 4.x platform administration.
• Expertise in CMC, CMS, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, BI LaunchPad, and Universe Management.
• Strong user management, authentication, authorization and security administration.
• Hands-on Windows and Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SQL and BI reporting environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Understanding of BI architecture, ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize reports and workflows.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization.
• Manage platform backups, restore activities, and disaster recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot BO platform issues and coordinate with SAP Support for issue resolution.
• Monitor system health, server performance, and availability.
