Job summary

EY’s Global Delivery Services seeks a skilled SAP Analytics and Data consultant to design, develop, and implement enterprise data solutions using SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, HANA, SAC, and related technologies for a broad client base in India. You’ll translate business needs into scalable data models and analytics capabilities.

You’ll collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, build pipelines, ensure governance, and deliver high-quality analytics solutions with impact.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, HANA, and SAP Business Data Cloud concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting and planning.
• Strong data modelling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Data Cloud and Datasphere data models.
• Build data pipelines, transformations, and integrations.
• Create reports and dashboards in SAC and validate data quality.

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

Join a high-performing SAP Analytics and Data team to help organizations unlock business value through data-driven insights. As an SAP BDC Consultant, you will work on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise data and analytics solutions using SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and related technologies. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, innovative, and high-quality data solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and SAP BW/4HANA data models.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and integration processes.
• Develop analytical models, reports, and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources to support enterprise analytics requirements.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data models and reporting solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Data Cloud concepts.
• Experience in data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing principles.
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting and planning capabilities.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and analytical content.
• Experience with SQL, SAP HANA modelling, and data integration techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and quality.
