Job summary

Amit GPS & Navigation is seeking a Senior SAP Business One Technical Lead with 6 to 10+ years of experience to drive development, integration and support initiatives. You will work on SAP B1 SDK, Service Layer, and B1if, and design scalable solutions using C#, VB.NET, Java and SQL Server/SAP HANA.

Role involves leading technical implementation, upgrades and migrations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust SAP B1 solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in SAP Business One development, customization, implementation, integration and support.
• Extensive experience with SAP B1 SDK (DI API & UI API), Service Layer and B1if.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, VB.NET or Java in enterprise web and desktop apps.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and SAP HANA database objects and performance tuning.
• Experience building RESTful services, web apps using ASP.NET/ MVC, and reporting with Crystal Reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Business One add-ons and enhancements using C#, VB.NET, or Java with the SAP B1 SDK (DI API & UI API).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services using ASP.NET Web API and .NET Core.
• Develop enterprise web applications using ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Integrate SAP Business One with third-party and external systems using Service Layer, DI API, REST APIs, and the SAP B1 Integration Framework (B1if).
• Create and optimize SQL Server and SAP HANA database objects, including queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Develop Crystal Reports, Formatted Searches (FMS), and customized document layouts.
• Install, configure, and upgrade SAP Business One, and lead technical implementation, upgrade, and migration projects.
• Perform data migration using DTW, Excel, and SQL scripts.
• Configure UDFs, UDTs, UDOs, alerts, and approval procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Business One technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Support SAP HANA/SQL Server installation, upgrades, backups, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Apply solid understanding of performance troubleshooting for SAC-S/4HANA integrations and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training as required.
