Job summary

Equipe Container Services in Pune, India is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba/MM specialist to independently analyze and resolve L3 incidents and drive permanent fixes across SAP MM and Ariba modules.

You will configure Ariba modules in projects (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying & Invoicing) and SAP MM processes (procurement cycle, release strategies, STO). Strong IDoc expertise and experience with Ariba integration are required, along with coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years SAP Ariba experience, including 3+ years in MM.
• Strong MM configuration and procurement processes.
• Proven experience handling L3 tickets independently.
• Hands-on IDoc skills (WE02, WE05, WE19, WE20).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve L3 incidents and problem tickets in Ariba and SAP MM within SLA.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Configure and support Ariba modules in projects and rollouts: Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, Supply Chain Collaboration and Ariba Network.
• Configure SAP MM: procurement cycle, purchase requisitions and orders, release strategies, source determination, inventory management, valuation and account determination, and STO.
• Firm understanding of Fixed Asset procurement and its integration with SAP PM.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, and write detailed functional specifications for custom developments (enhancements, reports, forms, workflows).
• Work with ABAP and technical teams on development and review of technical specifications.
• Manage and monitor interfaces between SAP and Ariba (Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, middleware).
• Support testing (unit, SIT, UAT), cutover and hypercare.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, test cases and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with business users, vendors and cross-functional teams (FI, SD, WM).

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-8 years of SAP Ariba experience, including 3+ years in MM.
• Strong command of MM configuration and procurement business processes.
• Proven experience handling L3 tickets independently.
• Hands-on IDoc skills (WE02, WE05, WE19, WE20, BD87, message types, partner profiles, ALE/EDI).
• Experience with SAP-Ariba integration and interface troubleshooting.
• Experience writing functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA procurement.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
