Qualifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Ariba Procurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Module Configuration: Lead the implementation and support of Ariba Buying and Invoicing (P2P), Guided Buying, Catalog Management, and Ariba Network integration.
• Business Process Mapping: Conduct workshops to translate "As-Is" processes into automated To-Be workflows.
• Guided Buying: Design user-friendly interfaces and landing pages to ensure high user adoption and compliant purchasing.
• Approval Workflow Design: Build complex, multi-level approval rules using the Ariba Approval Engine (CSV and Excel-based lookups).
• Integration Support: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth data flow via CIG or SAP Integration Suite for Master/Transactional Data.
• Testing & Training: Lead UAT, create functional specs, and provide end-user training.

Job Role: SAP Ariba Functional Consultant

Job Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: (WFO/Hybrid)

Experience: 5-8 Years

Primary Modules

• Ariba Buying & Invoicing (P2P), Guided Buying.
• Proficiency in SAP CIG / Managed Gateway, mapping Ariba fields to SAP S4 fields (IDOCs, BAPIs).
• Management of CIF/cXML catalogs, PunchOut catalogs, and validation rules
• Building custom analytical reports and dashboards within the Ariba solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Configuration: Lead the implementation and support of Ariba Buying and Invoicing (P2P), Guided Buying, Catalog Management, and Ariba Network integration.
• Business Process Mapping: Conduct workshops to gather requirements and translate "As-Is" manual processes into "To-Be" automated workflows.
• Guided Buying: Design user-friendly interfaces and "landing pages" to ensure high user adoption and compliant purchasing.
• Approval Workflow Design: Build complex, multi-level approval rules using the Ariba Approval Engine (CSV and Excel-based lookups).
• Integration Support: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth data flow via CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) or SAP Integration Suite for Master Data and Transactional Data.
• Testing & Training: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create functional specifications, and provide end-user training.

Qualifications

• Experience: Typically, 37 years of SAP Ariba experience, with at least 2 full-cycle Downstream implementations.
• SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of the MM (Materials Management) module, specifically Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Invoice Verification.
• Soft Skills: Ability to explain complex technical configurations to non-technical stakeholders with clarity (and perhaps a bit of patience).
• Certification: Ideally certified in SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Ariba Procurement
