Job summary

Google's Hyderabad team seeks an SAP Applications Engineering Manager to lead a skilled group building ERP solutions on Google Cloud. You will guide architecture, development, and delivery of SAP-based systems across the business, mentor engineers, and champion quality.

The role requires extensive SAP ERP experience, ABAP OO, FICO, SAPUI5/Fiori, oData, REST ABAP, and strong collaboration with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, robust engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience with SAP ERP implementations and SAP S/4HANA development including ABAP.
• Experience in SAP Finance/SAP FICO and SAP code development (ABAP OO, oData, REST ABAP, CDS, Fiori).

SAP Applications Engineering Manager

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience working with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, SAP S/4 HANA development including Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP).
• Expereince working SAP Finance Domain or SAP FICO implementation.
• Experience writing SAP code, advanced ABAP object-oriented programming system, oData, Restful ABAP, Fiori, SAPUI5, CDS, Dialog (transaction) programming, enhancements (user exits, BADI, BAPI etc.) and interfaces (IDOCS, remote function calls, web services etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Domain understanding of extended workforce management, SAP FI or any related finance solution.
• Understanding of cross-functional and integrated business processes related to the SAP module, including integrations with extended business systems.
• Ability to strategically anticipate/prevent technical and organizational obstacles, as well as effectively reacting and addressing them after they arise.
