Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group seeks a senior SAP FICO architect to define solution design and drive end-to-end delivery for S/4HANA transformations. You will lead finance workstreams, ensure standardization across geographies, and govern WRICEF specifications.

Experience across multiple global rollouts and strong FI-SD/FI-MM/FI-PP integration is essential. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize finance processes and support migrations, cutovers, and upgrades in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in SAP FICO with 4–6 full lifecycle implementations/rollouts or support in S/4HANA or ECC
• Strong design, concepts, principles, and configuration knowledge in SAP FICO
• Ability to manage multiple projects across ERP templates and experience in global deployments

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture and lead SAP FICO design, configuration, and delivery
• Lead Finance workstream for SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts and transformations
• Drive end-to-end solution design including Global Template, localization, and standardization across geographies
• Own and govern functional specifications for WRICEF objects ensuring alignment with business needs
• Partner with stakeholders to optimize finance processes using S/4HANA capabilities
• Provide leadership through all project phases including design, SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live and upgrades
• Oversee incident management and change requests for live units with SLA adherence
• Bring extensive experience with multiple global full lifecycle implementations including conversions and rollouts
• Strong integration knowledge between FI-SD, FI-MM, FI-PP
• Knowledge of Bank master setup, EBS configuration, and cash management
• Proven SAP FICO design, concept, and configuration expertise
• Ability to work on multiple ERP template enhancements simultaneously

Job description

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

Manage, support, and assist in the design and implementation of the Financial Accounting and Controlling template including configurations and determining the best ways to use S/4 HANA by merging business and IT needs, and focusing on utilizing the system for the greatest efficiency and utilization.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• As a senior member of the Global IT team, responsible for defining solution architecture and leading SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) design, configuration, and delivery in alignment with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Lead Finance workstream for SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and transformations, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery across all project phases.
• Drive end-to-end solution design including Global Template definition, localization, and standardization across multiple geographies and business units.
• Own and govern the creation, review, and approval of functional specifications for WRICEF objects (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms), ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
• Partner with business stakeholders to analyze, optimize, and re-engineer finance processes, leveraging S/4HANA capabilities such as Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and FSCM.
• Provide leadership during all project phases including design, configuration, SIT, UAT, training, data migration, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and upgrades. Minimum 5 full lifecycle implementations / roll outs & support experience in FICO in S/4 HANA or SAP ECC Projects.
• Oversee and support incident management and change requests for live business units, ensuring adherence to SLAs and continuous improvement.
• Bring extensive experience with multiple global full lifecycle implementations (minimum 4–6) including S/4HANA conversions, greenfield implementations, and rollouts.
• Should have a strong integration knowledge between FI-SD, FI-MM, FI-PP
• Should have a strong knowledge Bank master setup, electronic bank statement (EBS) configuration, and cash management.
• Proven experience in design, concept, principles, and configuration in SAP FICO area.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously (implementations, enhancements of ERP templates etc.)

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:

• Bachelor / master’s degree in finance/accounting, or equivalent discipline from a recognized Accounting Body.
• Minimum 4 - 6 full lifecycle implementations / roll outs & support experience in FICO in S/4 HANA or SAP ECC Projects with a minimum experience of 15+ years.
• Proven experience in design, concept, principles, and configuration in SAP FICO area.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously (implementations, enhancements of ERP templates etc.)
• Strong communication skills in English, self-driven and motivated.
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline.

Desirable:

• SAP Certification in SAP Financial Accounting/Controlling.
