Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking an SAP APO ABAP Technical Specialist to design, develop, and support SAP APO and related ECC/S/4HANA interfaces. You will translate business requirements into scalable ABAP solutions, focusing on CIF integrations, IDocs, BAPIs, and performance tuning.

Senior candidates will provide technical guidance, review designs, and participate in architecture and integration decisions while collaborating with functional teams and stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development with strong exposure to SAP APO.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP APO ABAP Technical Development.
• Excellent knowledge of Core ABAP, including reports, ALV, function modules, enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits.
• Strong experience with SAP APO technical integration and CIF.
• Practical experience with BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, interfaces, and custom developments.

As an SAP APO ABAP Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and supporting technical solutions across SAP APO and connected enterprise systems. You will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable SAP solutions.

The role requires strong expertise inCore ABAP, SAP APO technical integration, CIF, reports, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and interfaces. You will also contribute to system troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support activities.

For senior-level candidates, the role will additionally involve providing technical guidance, reviewing solutions, and contributing to architecture and integration decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain technical solutions usingSAP ABAP and SAP APO.
• Develop and enhance SAP APO technical objects, reports, interfaces, and integrations.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
• Support SAP APO implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and production-support activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and solution designs.
• Ensure technical solutions follow SAP development standards, quality guidelines, and best practices.
• Support integration testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
• For senior-level roles, provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and review technical designs and deliverables.
