Job summary

Alstom is seeking an SAP Analytics Technical Specialist - HANA in Bengaluru to lead SAP HANA development, including SQLScript and Calculation Views, while optimizing performance and ensuring secure data access. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams to deliver enterprise-ready insights on the native HANA platform.

The role emphasizes hands-on data provisioning, integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA, and supporting material planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering/Technology or a related field.
• Experience in SAP HANA development, including SQLScript, Calculation Views, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP integration and data provisioning methods.
• Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
• Familiarity with SAP BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or SAP BO.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your SAP HANA expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You’ll play a key role in delivering business-driven end-to-end solutions that provide critical insights from our enterprise data on the Native HANA platform. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the Transversal Digital Platforms Team, Innovation Team, and Infrastructure Team), optimize HANA performance, and troubleshoot models and systems, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of creating and optimizing Calculation Views, integrating SAP HANA with other systems, and ensuring high performance through tools like HANA Cockpit and DBA Cockpit, but also support data provisioning and material planning processes.

We’ll look to you for:
