SAP Reporting Consultant – Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Reporting Consultant to design, develop, and optimize reporting solutions across various SAP modules. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BusinessObjects (BO), SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), or embedded reporting tools like Fiori and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics. This role involves working closely with business teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and real-time reporting for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAP reporting solutions using BW/4HANA, BusinessObjects, SAC, or S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• Work with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into efficient dashboards and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization in reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, CDS views, and KPI dashboards.
• Integrate SAP reporting tools with other applications for seamless data extraction and visualization.
• Support and troubleshoot reporting performance issues and data inconsistencies.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and authorization standards for reporting access.
• Provide user training and documentation to ensure effective utilization of reporting tools.
• Work with technical teams for enhancements, upgrades, and new report development.
• Participate in SAP migrations, rollouts, and process improvement initiatives related to reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP reporting and analytics.
• Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BusinessObjects (BO), SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), or S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of CDS Views, Fiori reporting, and ABAP Query development.
• Experience in cross-functional integration with SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred) or ECC.
• Ability to analyze data models, extract key insights, and optimize report performance.
• Strong understanding of data governance, authorization concepts, and security compliance.
• Experience in SQL, HANA modeling, and real-time data extraction is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP BW, BO, or SAC Certification is a plus.
• Background in financial, supply chain, or operational reporting is beneficial.
