Job summary

Talent Basket in Pune seeks an experienced SAP ALM/Testing Consultant with 5–8 years of SAP consulting experience, including hands‑on SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager. You will define testing strategies, lead SIT/UAT cycles, and drive defect management across the project lifecycle.

The role requires at least one end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation and strong ALM tooling knowledge (Tricentis, JIRA, Azure DevOps), with onsite work and global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
• Draft and finalize test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases aligned with SAP Activate methodology.
• Lead and coordinate SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing across functional and technical tracks.
• Manage end-to-end defect tracking, triaging, logging, resolution, and re‑testing processes.
• Monitor testing progress, generate status dashboards, and report key quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Facilitate business user training, coordinate UAT sign‑offs, and collaborate with cross‑functional global teams.
• Support release management, transport management, deployment activities, and post‑go‑live hypercare.
• Ensure strict adherence to testing standards, governance models, and best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ALM / Testing Consultant with 5–8 years of SAP consulting experience, including at least 2–3 years of hands‑on expertise in SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), or SAP testing ecosystem tools.

The ideal candidate must have participated in at least one end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation and demonstrate a strong command of test planning, execution, defect management, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). You will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies, managing SIT and UAT cycles, tracking defects, and ensuring quality assurance standard governance across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• ALM Configuration & Support: Configure, maintain, and support SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
• Test Strategy & Planning: Draft and finalize test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases aligned with the SAP Activate methodology.

• Reporting & Quality Metrics: Monitor testing progress, generate status dashboards, and report key quality metrics to project management and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Enablement: Facilitate business user training, coordinate UAT sign‑offs, and collaborate with cross‑functional global teams.
• Deployment & Hypercare: Support release management, transport management, deployment activities, and post‑go‑live hypercare.
• Continuous Improvement: Ensure strict adherence to testing standards, governance models, and best practices.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years of overall SAP consulting experience.
• Specialized Experience: 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager.
• Implementation: At least 1 end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation completed.
