Job summary

AMS Human Resources in Bengaluru invites an SAP ABAP Developer to collaborate with technical architect, functional consultants and business analysts to build SAP ECC/S/4HANA solutions. You will support rollout and migration projects, provide technical support to functional teams, and ensure integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

The role requires strong ABAP with OO skills, experience in Enhancements, BADIs, CDS/AMDP, and clean coding practices within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• SAP ABAP expertise with object-oriented programming.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP CDS/AMDP.
• Strong knowledge of Enhancement Framework and BADIs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, consultants and analysts to develop SAP ECC/S/4HANA solutions.
• Support rollout and migration projects with new development and migration activities.
• Provide technical assistance to the functional team in various modules.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems using different technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and daily stand-ups; perform code checks.
• Document developed solutions and adhere to ABAP best practices.
• Leverage SAP manufacturing domain know-how for effective solutions.
• Ensure clean, scalable code and adherence to project timelines.

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical Architect, functional consultant and business analysts to develop new solutions in SAP ECC.
• Supporting the Rollout / Migration project with new development, migration activities, and technical support.
• Providing the technical assistance to the functional team in the respective functional areas.
• Integrating the SAP S/4 HANA system with SAP / Non-SAP systems using different technologies
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, Review, planning, retrospectives and daily stand ups
• Quality & Code-Checks
• Document developed solutions
• Industry know-how of SAP with manufacturing industries would be added advantages

Preferred candidate profile

• SAP ABAP Developer, Strong Know how in Object Oriented Programming, preferably with functional knowledge in understanding in business process of various modules (PP-Logistics-MM )
• Very strong experience in User Exits, Enhancement Framework, BADIs
• modern ABAP (>7.51)
• S/4 HANA code pushdown methodologies, (CDS, AMDP ) Knowledge of ABAP best practices, deeply interiorized the ABAP programming guidelines (good and bad examples)
• Well verse with clean core principles and able to write quality code Agile Methodology
