Job summary

Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming) Consultant with at least 8 years of experience in SAP development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming, hands on experience with RAP model in S/4HANA, and a good understanding of Clean Core principles. Experience with Central Procurement Hub is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles by minimizing custom code in the S/4HANA core.
• Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with RAP-based services.
• Work on Central Procurement Hub scenarios, including integration and customization.
• Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in ABAP RAP, CDS Views, BOPF, and OData services.
• Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 development.
• Experience in enhancing Fiori app using S4Hana extensibility
• Solid understanding of Clean Core architecture and extensibility options.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with Central Procurement Hub implementation or support.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh, Workflow, or BRF+.
• SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development.
