Job summary

Infinite Locus invites an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant to join our SAP development team in Gurugram. You will drive modern ABAP development using RAP, CDS Views, and OData services within S/4HANA projects.

You should have 4–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, strong debugging and performance optimization skills, and a solid understanding of Eclipse/ADT for development. This full-time role is based on-site in Gurugram.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA.
• Good experience with SAP RAP and modern ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of CDS Views / CDS View Entities.
• Experience with OData services and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of Behavior Definition and Behavior Implementation in RAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP and RAP.
• Design and develop CDS Views, CDS View Entities, and data models.
• Develop and expose OData services using the RAP framework.
• Work on Managed and Unmanaged RAP scenarios.
• Develop Behavior Definitions, Behavior Implementations, Actions, Validations, and Determinations.
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and custom objects.
• Work with AMDP, BAdIs, BAPIs, IDocs, Adobe Forms, and other SAP development technologies.
• Analyze and optimize application performance on SAP HANA.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
• Perform debugging, issue analysis, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant with 46 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, S/4HANA, and the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern ABAP development, CDS Views, OData services, and SAP S/4HANA.
