Job summary

Capgemini India is hiring a SAP ABAP RAP developer to design and implement modern enterprise solutions on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP. You will build and extend OData services, model CDS views, and ensure robust backend services using RAP across managed and unmanaged scenarios.

You will collaborate with functional teams and UI/UX groups to deliver end-to-end solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure SAP best practices are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP and RAP development.
• Strong hands-on in ABAP RAP (managed & unmanaged), CDS views, annotations, and OData service development.
• Experience with Fiori/UI5 ready backend services and SAP BTP integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.

Your Role

• Design and develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Work on both managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios, including CDS view modelling and service exposure.
• Build and extend OData V2/V4 services and integrate them with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Implement backend logic using OOABAP, AMDP, and SQL on SAP HANA.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and UI teams for endtoend solution delivery.
• Perform unit testing, code optimization, peer reviews, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

Your Profile

• 416 years of experience in SAP ABAP & RAP development
• Strong handson expertise in ABAP RAP (managed & unmanaged), CDS views, annotations, and OData service development.
• Proficient in OOABAP, AMDP, HANAoptimized coding, and performance tuning.
• Experience in developing and extending Fiori/UI5ready backend services using RAP & OData V2/V4.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP, RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Skilled in requirement analysis, technical design, unit testing, and crossteam collaboration.
