Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a skilled SAP developer to join our SAP technical team. You will design and build extensions using RAP and CDS views, and develop Fiori/UI5 applications in SAP Business Application Studio.

You will assess change requests, implement improvements, and support S/4HANA migrations with clean core principles. You will also expose OData v4 services, configure the Fiori Launchpad, and integrate SAP BTP services via REST/SOAP APIs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAP development experience with ABAP OO and/or Fiori/UI5.
• Hands-on RAP and CDS view development experience or strong motivation to transition from classic ABAP.
• Experience with SAP BTP, ABAP Environment, and SAP Web IDE/SAP Business Application Studio.
• Familiarity with OData v4 and REST/SOAP APIs in a BTP context.

Responsibilities

• Design and build extensions using RAP and CDS views following clean core principles.
• Develop and maintain Fiori/UI5 apps, including Fiori Elements, in SAP Business Application Studio.
• Analyse user requests and implement changes, preferring BTP-based extensions when possible.
• Provide solutions to incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and offer workarounds.
• Expose OData v4 services via RAP and maintain legacy OData v2 as needed.
• Configure the Fiori Launchpad with spaces and pages; develop integrations via SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Support key user extensibility as an alternative to developer extensibility.
• Participate in S/4HANA implementations or migrations and in clean core assessment projects.
• Handle related SAP support tasks and collaborate with the client team.

Job Description:You will be part of the SAP technical team providing support and development activities for DXC’s client.
