Altraize is seeking an SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant to design, develop, enhance, and support ABAP-based SAP applications within S4HANA environments. You will collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to deliver reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and integrations per SAP best practices.

The role emphasizes building ABAP solutions, CDS/HANA optimizations, Fiori/UI5 development, and data migration support, with strong focus on performance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

Proficient ABAP programming with OO ABAP.
Experience delivering ABAP reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, migrations, and CDS/AMDPs.
Hands-on with SAP Fiori, Gateway, OData, and SAPUI5 development.
Familiar with performance tuning and ABAP optimization.
Ability to design and implement EDI/IDoc integrations and data migrations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP solutions in SAP S4HANA.
Create technical design documents from business requirements.
Develop reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
Build SAP Fiori apps and OData services using SAP Gateway.
Develop CDS views and AMDPs; optimize HANA usage.
Remediate simplifications for S4HANA migrations.
Integrate SAP with external systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, REST/SOAP/EDI.
Tune ABAP performance and conduct various testing levels.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer.
Offer production support and issue resolution.

Job description

The SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant designs, develops, enhances, and supports SAP applications using ABAP within SAP S4HANA environments. Collaborating closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, the role delivers custom developments-including reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and integrations-while adhering to SAP best practices and development standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP solutions in SAP S4HANA.
Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents.
Develop custom reports (classical, interactive, ALV), enhancements (e.g., BAdIs, User Exits), interfaces, forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms), and workflows.
Build and support SAP Fiori applications and OData services using SAP Gateway.
Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, and SAP HANA-optimized solutions.
Perform custom code remediation and simplification for SAP S4HANA migrations.
Integrate SAP and third-party systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Proxy Services, REST, SOAP, and EDI.
Tune and optimize ABAP program performance using tools like ST22, ST05, SAT, and SQL Trace.
Support data migration and conversion activities.
Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing; resolve defects efficiently.
Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer.
Provide production support and troubleshoot technical issues.
