Job summary

HighSpring India LLP invites a seasoned SAP ABAP Developer to lead modern SAP transformations from Chennai. You will design and deliver SAP solutions on SAP BTP, advance ABAP frameworks, and drive cloud adoption while aligning with clean-core architectures.

Responsibilities include leading ABAP on HANA, RAP, CDS, OData and Fiori development; enabling integrations with SAP Integration Suite; and guiding performance, security and DevOps across global delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors in Engineering / Computer Science / IT
• Job Related Experience: 10-15 years SAP experience with focus on BTP & ABAP competencies
• Strong communication across audiences and domains
• Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-native SAP architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead ABAP on HANA, RAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori development

Purpose of Job

The SAP ABAP developer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing and delivering modern SAP solutions using SAP BTP and advanced ABAP frameworks, supporting S/4HANA transformation and cloud adoption. This role acts as a internal customer-facing architect and consulting partner, translating business requirements into scalable, clean-core compliant SAP architectures while driving innovation, extensibility, and integration strategies. The position combines deep hands-on technical expertise with solution architecture leadership, enabling enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
