Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP and Adobe Forms developer to design, develop, and optimize forms within SAP environments. You will work on Adobe LiveCycle-based forms, integrate with SD, MM, FI, HR modules, and enhance existing templates with data mapping and layouts.

You will also collaborate with security teams, quality assurance, and end-users to ensure accurate output, performance, and usability across multiple locations including Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune,

Qualifications

• Strong ABAP knowledge for integrating custom logic in Adobe Forms.
• Experience mapping data from SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, HR) to Adobe Forms.
• Proficiency with Adobe Interactive Forms and Adobe Print Forms.
• Knowledge of SAP Smart Forms and SAPscript is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Workflow for automated document generation.

Key Responsibilities

Adobe Forms Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain Adobe Interactive Forms and Adobe Print Forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
• Customize and extend standard SAP forms to meet specific business requirements.
• Develop dynamic and interactive forms with conditional formatting, data validation, and calculations.

ABAP Development :

• Write custom ABAP code to fetch and map data for Adobe Forms.
• Integrate Adobe Forms with SAP standard modules such as SD, MM, FI, HR, etc.
• Develop and implement logic for complex data extractions and layouts, including tables, barcodes, and graphics.

Form Enhancements & Modifications :

• Enhance existing Adobe Forms for layout changes, data mapping, and field addition.
• Maintain and debug existing forms and resolve issues related to form output, performance, or layout inconsistencies.

Performance Optimization :

• Optimize the performance of Adobe Forms in SAP systems by refining ABAP code and optimizing data retrieval processes.
• Ensure minimal runtime for form generation and data mapping in high-volume environments.

Integration with SAP :

• Develop and implement Print Workbench and Smart Forms in coordination with Adobe Forms.
• Integrate Adobe Forms with SAP Workflow for dynamic document generation based on business processes.

Testing and Debugging :

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for the Adobe Forms developed.
• Debug and resolve issues related to form output and layout during testing and after deployment.

Security and Authorizations :

• Work with the security team to ensure proper authorization checks for form display and output.
• Implement authorization control for accessing sensitive information on forms such as invoices, purchase orders, and HR documents.

Documentation and Support :

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for form design, development, and configuration.
• Provide end-user training and support for business users in utilizing Adobe forms.
• Support end-users during Acceptance Testing and post-implementation by troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.

Technical Skills Required

SAP ABAP :

• Strong knowledge of ABAP for integrating custom logic in Adobe Forms.
• Expertise in handling data retrieval and mapping from various SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, HR, etc.) to Adobe Forms.

Adobe Forms :

• Proficiency in Adobe Interactive Forms and Adobe Print Forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
• Experience with form layout, dynamic content, scripting, and form fields validation.

SAP Smart Forms SAPscript :

• Knowledge of SAP Smart Forms and SAPscript is a plus for form development and transition to Adobe Forms.

SAP Workflow Integration :

• Experience integrating Adobe Forms with SAP Workflow for automated document generation.

Form Layout and Design :

• Expertise in designing user-friendly and visually appealing forms with a strong emphasis on usability and accuracy.
• Knowledge of form templates, tables, subforms, and graphics (e.g., logos, signatures, and barcodes).
