Qualifications

• RAP project implementation experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using RAP model in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Build and enhance CDS views, behaviour definitions, and service bindings.
• Ensure compliance with cloud development guidelines and clean core architecture.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance of applications.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in S/4HANA Public Cloud. The candidate must have hands‑on experience in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and modern ABAP development practices. This role requires strict adherence to clean core principles and cloud‑ready development standards.

Mandatory Skills (Non‑Negotiable):

Strong hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

Proven expertise in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

Experience with ABAP for Cloud Development (Steampunk / ABAP Environment)

Strong knowledge of:

CDS Views (Core Data Services)

OData Services (V2/V4)

Business Object modeling in RAP

Experience with Fiori Elements and UI annotations

Understanding of Clean Core principles and extensibility options in Public Cloud

Experience working with ADT (ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse)

Good to Have Skills

Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

Knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

Experience with Integration (APIs, SAP CPI)

Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 (custom apps)

Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines in SAP)
