Job summary

Vrinda International seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to drive architecture, development, and optimization of cloud-native ABAP solutions. You will bridge legacy systems with modern SAP technologies to deliver scalable, secure extensions aligned with the Clean Core strategy.

The role focuses on RAP, CDS, CPI, and Build-based integrations for enterprise clients, with emphasis on performance and robust security in a SAP BTP environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud tech.
• Deep knowledge of ABAP RAP and CDS Views.
• Experience with CPI, Event Mesh, and SAP Build for integration and automation.
• Proficient in developing and consuming SOAP/REST APIs, and using Git for version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-ready ABAP applications using RAP, CDS Analytic Models, and side-by-side extensions.
• Architect and manage integrations with CPI, Event Mesh, and SAP Build for real-time data flow.
• Develop secure interfaces and ensure proper authorization using SOAP/REST APIs and SAP BTP security concepts.
• Create and optimize CDS Views and Embedded Analytics for deep business insights.
• Ensure code quality through ATC checks and Git-based workflows in Eclipse ADT.

SAP ABAP Developer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP professional to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the architecture, development, and optimization of cloud-native solutions within the SAP ecosystem. The position focuses on leveraging modern ABAP capabilities to build scalable, secure, and efficient extensions that align with the "Clean Core" strategy. Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust cloud-ready applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and CDS Analytical Models.
  
• Implement side-by-side extensions and key user extensibility features to enhance SAP S/4HANA functionality without compromising the core system.
  
• Architect and manage complex integrations using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, and SAP Build to ensure real-time data flow across systems.
  
• Develop and maintain secure interfaces utilizing SOAP services and REST APIs, adhering to strict authorization and security protocols.
  
• Create and optimize CDS Views and Embedded Analytics solutions to provide deep insights and reporting capabilities.
  
• Conduct rigorous code quality assurance through ATC checks and Git repository management within the Eclipse ADT environment.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model solutions that meet business objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies.
  
• Proven expertise in the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and CDS Views.
  
• Deep knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, and SAP Build for process automation and integration.
  
• Proficiency in implementing side-by-side extensions, Key User & Developer Extensibility, and Clean Core principles.
  
• Strong background in developing and consuming SOAP and REST APIs, along with experience in Git repositories for version control.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work with Embedded Analytics, CAP Model, and CDS Analytical Models.
  
• Solid understanding of SAP BTP, Authorization & Security concepts, and ATC Checks.
  
• Experience with Eclipse ADT and familiarity with SAP ABAP Cloud development lifecycles.
  
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for high-performance applications.
