Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Salesforce Education Cloud expert in India to lead end-to-end Education Cloud implementations. You will architect solutions, guide delivery teams, and ensure seamless delivery across recruitment, onboarding, and alumni processes. Strong coaching and client-facing skills are essential to drive value.

The role demands deep Salesforce expertise, agile delivery, and experience with Omnistudio, BRE, and Lightning components to transform education workflows.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions.
Extensive experience in the Education Sector and digital transformation.
In-depth understanding of Education cloud focus areas – Recruitment, Admission, Onboarding, Career Readiness and Alumni.
Experience on education cloud projects and student lifecycle journey.
8+ years on deployment teams using Agile development techniques.
Proven delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise CRM for Education.
Experience leading teams in analysis, design and implementation.
Salesforce.com integration between systems and with integration tools.

Responsibilities

Support the full implementation lifecycle from scoping to deployment.
Design and build Salesforce Education Cloud solutions, especially Education Cloud.
Collaborate with Delivery Managers and clients to architect technology solutions.
Help create scope and development estimates and document requirements.
Work with sales/pre-sales, engineering, and other teams to maximize value.
Design transformational technology solutions meeting business requirements.
Lead and mentor development and QA teams on projects.
Ensure testing and performance are monitored; adopt best practices.
Develop POCs or assist customers with complex coding tasks.

Job description

Support the full implementation lifecycle, from scoping to deployment in an evolving ecosystem consisting of clients and partners.
Successfully design and build the Salesforce industry-specific Education Cloud solutions, particularly using Salesforce Education Cloud.
Maintain an ongoing comprehensive understanding of the cloud-computing ecosystem.
Work closely with Delivery Managers, Functional Solution Architects, and directly with clients and IT development staff to architect technology solutions.
Contribute to creating scope and development estimates, and documenting requirements and designs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales/pre‑sales, engineering, other services teams, etc.) to help customers maximize the value of their Salesforce Industry products and services.
Design transformational technology solutions and work directly with customers to meet their business requirements.
Lead and mentor the development and QA teams on the project.
Responsible for the application design, development, and support of Salesforce‑related projects.
Responsible for ensuring that proper testing is implemented and performance requirements are closely monitored by working with the development teams.
Advocate and implement best practice development methodology to drive quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
Develop POCs or help customers and partners with complex coding tasks.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions
Extensive experience and understanding of the Education Sector and the need for digital transformation
In-depth understanding of education cloud focus areas – Recruitment, Admission, Onboarding, Career Readiness and Alumni
Worked on education cloud project and implemented the student lifecycle journey
8+ years of experience working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques.
Proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise CRM implementations for Education clients.
Experience leading teams in the analysis of complex problems, and the design and implementation of related solutions.
Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools.
Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com from scratch.
Strong experience on Omnistudio suite, Business Rules Engine (BRE), Experience Cloud Integration
Strong practical knowledge of Lightning, VisualForce, Flex, and LWC.
Understanding of DevOps and Release Management for large-scale transformation projects.
Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, partners, and internal team members.
