Job summary

Durus Consulting is seeking an experienced Salesforce SRE Engineer to join our Salesforce Application Maintenance Services team. The SRE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, scalability, and operational stability of the Salesforce landscape.

The role will work closely with Salesforce L2/L3 support teams, development teams, integration teams, infrastructure/cloud teams, and the SRE Architect to proactively identify and resolve reliability issues

Qualifications

• Strong Salesforce technical knowledge with experience in production reliability and platform performance.
• Familiarity with governor limits, asynchronous processing, and Apex performance is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with development, integration, and cloud/infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and availability of Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Analyze Salesforce governance limits, API usage, and performance metrics.
• Proactively identify and resolve production issues and support incidents.

reliabilityissuesandcontinuouslyimprovetheoperationalmaturityoftheSalesforceplatform.

DevOps,Copado,monitoring,automation,incidentmanagement,performanceengineering,

CI/CD,andproductionoperations.

KeyResponsibilities

1.SalesforceProductionReliability

• MonitorandmaintainthehealthandavailabilityofSalesforceapplicationsandassociatedintegrations.
• AnalyzeSalesforcegovernorlimits,platformlimits,APIconsumption,asynchronousprocessing,batchjobs,queueablejobs,flows,andApexperformance.
• Proactivelyidentifypotentialproductionissuesbeforetheyimpactbusinessusers.
• Supporthigh-priorityandcriticalproductionincidents.

2.Monitoring&Observability

DesignandmaintainaneffectiveobservabilityframeworkacrosstheSalesforcelandscapecovering:

• Applicationhealth
• APIavailabilityandresponsetimes
• Integrationfailures,Batch/Queueable/Apexjobfailures,Flowfailures
• Datasynchronizationissues
• SalesforceAPIusage
• CPUandtransactionperformance

Implementappropriatelogs,metrics,alerts,dashboards,andoperationalKPIs.

ExperiencewithtoolssuchasSalesforceEventMonitoring,Datadog,AzureMonitor,orsimilar

observabilityplatforms.

3.SalesforcePerformanceEngineering

• Analyzeslow-runningtransactions,Apexexecution,SOQLqueries,Flowperformance,andintegrationlatency.
• IdentifySalesforcegovernor-limitrisksandrecommendremediation.
• Analyzelarge-data-volume(LDV)considerations.
