Job summary

CIBC India is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and deploy FSC-based solutions using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Aura components. You will integrate Salesforce with internal systems, lead reviews, and ensure security and governance compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of FSC experience, strong SQL and AI feature knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Work arrangements (on-site/remote) will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), minimum 3 years.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement upstream/downstream integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL).
• Hands-on with Azure Cloud components (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.).
• Solid SQL knowledge for data manipulation, reporting, and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein and AI capabilities used in business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Aura components.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems (REST/SOAP).
• Lead and participate in code reviews, ensure security and best practices.
• Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validations, and flows.
• Manage deployments using CI/CD, change sets, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across Salesforce ecosystems.
• Mentor junior developers and stay updated on platform releases.

What You’ll Be Doing (position summary):

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components. The role collaborates with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, develop and maintain integrations, lead code reviews, and ensure solutions comply with CIBC's security, data governance, and regulatory standards. The incumbent provides technical leadership to junior developers and keeps current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies.

How You’ll Succeed (responsibilities):

• Design, develop, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Participates in meetings and discussions to evaluate new tools, techniques, and best practices for Salesforce development.
• Engages with security, compliance, and data governance teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards.

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.

Must Have Skills:

• Extensive experience developing solutions on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). Minimum 3 years.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce declarative tools
• Proven ability to design and implement upstream and downstream integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools)
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud components (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus)
• Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation, reporting, and integration tasks
• Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein (AI, analytics, predictive modeling) and ability to leverage Einstein features in business solutions
• Experience working with Agent force and related Salesforce contact center/agent productivity tools
• Knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities (Einstein Bots, Next Best Action, AI‑powered automation).
