Job summary

CapeStart is seeking a Salesforce Developer in Tamil Nadu with 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience. You will design, develop, test and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations, collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver scalable CRM solutions.

You will work with Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and data tools, ensuring security, performance, and reliability while participating in Agile development cycles and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, triggers, classes, and test classes.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, security (OWD, profiles, roles), and data import/export.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement Salesforce customizations and integrations.
• Develop Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and flows per requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate business needs into scalable CRM solutions.
• Perform unit testing and debugging using logs and console outputs.

Job description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer [3-5 years]who will play a key role in maximizing the efficacy of the CRM. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations. You will work with a team of fellow engineers and collaborate with our Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and future of Company

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce OWD, permissions, permission set, profiles, roles, etc
• Knowledge on Data Import/Export via Dataloader
• Knowledge in using Salesforce Code Analyzer tool
• Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements
• Experience on Apex APIs, Apex Class, Test Class, Apex Trigger, Lightning Component, Visualforce Page, JavaScript & jQuery
• Experience on Duplication Rule, Matching Rule, SOQL and SOSL
• Experience on Apex Jobs
• Proficient in WebService Integration

Good To Have:

• Worked with Salesforce integrated Web application (preferably NodeJS)
• Knowledge of OAuth based authentication flow via ECA
• Salesforce Certifications such as:
  • Platform Developer I/II

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge in Managed Packaging process via 1GP/ 2GP and handling Beta and Production packages
• Knowledge in VS Code with Salesforce CLI, Scratch ORG based development, and Namespace/DevHub ORG based Metadata handling
• Develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations with Custom addons like CSS/JS
• Develop, test, and deploy Salesforce components like Apex class/triggers, Aura, VF, LWC, Flow
• Collaborate inter-departmentally to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform unit testing, defect analysis and fix it by using Debug logs, Browser Console logs
• Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices
• Exposure to Agile based development cycle (Scrum)
