Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking a Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Expert to design, implement and optimize unified customer data solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud. You will lead data integration, identity resolution and audience segmentation, collaborating with data engineers and CRM teams to ensure robust data flows.

The role emphasizes hands-on Apex, LWC development, SQL querying, and REST/SOAP API integrations within a complex Salesforce ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on technical experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud.
• 2–3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud (Genie/CDP).
• Lead design, implementation and optimization of unified customer data solutions with data integration and identity resolution.
• Collaborate with data engineering, marketing and CRM teams to ensure seamless data flow in Salesforce ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands‑on technical experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.
• 2–3 years of dedicated, hands‑on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud, formerly known as Salesforce CDP/Genie.
• Experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Expert is required to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of unified customer data solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, implementing identity resolution, developing actionable audience segments, and maximizing the value of Customer 360 profiles to deliver personalized customer experiences across multiple touchpoints.
• Close collaboration with data engineering, marketing, and CRM teams to ensure seamless data integration and effective utilization of the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Configure Salesforce Data Cloud, manage data ingestion from multiple sources, map Data Source Objects (DSOs) to Data Model Objects (DMOs), and implement identity resolution rules.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Configure and optimize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to support business processes and ensure seamless data flow between core CRM and Data Cloud.
• Develop Calculated Insights using SQL and create actionable audience segments for downstream activation.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce Core, Data Cloud, and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Provide technical expertise in Salesforce development and Data Cloud architecture, participate in code reviews, and establish development best practices.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate data architecture concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, including classes, batch processes, integrations, and triggers, along with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Extensive administrative and development experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL for developing Calculated Insights and querying data models.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong operational knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including the consumption of Data Cloud segments and journey events.
• Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce Flow for downstream CRM automation.
• Experience with CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM) or integration of Data Cloud with enterprise business intelligence tools.
