Salesforce Billing Administrator
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Working hours: Standard working hours with occasional night shifts (e.g. during revenue close periods)
About the Role
As a Salesforce Billing Administrator, you will support and maintain the day-to-day operations of our Revenue Cloud environment, working closely with Salesforce Billing consultants and the Global Revenue Team. You will investigate and resolve billing cases, manage configurations, and ensure data accuracy across billing processes. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on CPQ and Billing experience who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, improving system reliability, and partnering with global teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience implementing CPQ Billing, including Contract Renewal, amendments, Subscriptions, Billing Rules, Tax rules, invoice scheduler and Payment.
- Work alongside Salesforce Billing consultants to understand the existing implementation, recurring issues, and system architecture — then take progressive ownership of day-to-day support.
- Investigate and resolve Salesforce Billing cases; identify root causes of recurring issues and apply permanent fixes.
- Manage Revenue Cloud configurations — billing rules, invoice schedules, and product setup.
- Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards for the Global Revenue Team.
- Set up and maintain invoice templates using Conga.
- Perform database maintenance — diagnostic testing, duplicate cleansing, and data quality governance.
- Resolve Sales Tax issues and maintain compliance with billing records.
- Provide end-user training and support for billing processes and new releases.
- Hands‑on experience in flows.
- Experience across the SDLC, including Agile methodologies, sandbox‑based development, and deployment best practices.
- This role requires flexibility to support night shifts during revenue close periods or when global team coverage is needed.
- Attend team meetings via video call with camera on.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands‑on Salesforce Administration experience in CPQ & Billing.
- Thorough understanding of Quote to cash process.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).
- Hands‑on experience with declarative Salesforce tools (Flows, validation rules, reports & dashboards).
- Good communication skills; comfortable working with global teams over video calls.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator — required.
- Additional certifications (Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist, Billing Specialist) are a plus.
