Job summary

dotSolved is seeking an experienced Salesforce Automation QA Engineer with strong Salesforce CPQ domain experience to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test strategies for Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ testing, end-to-end quote-to-cash processes, test automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce testing.
• Good understanding of Salesforce CPQ and Quote-to-Cash processes.
• Experience testing: Product Rules, Price Rules, Discount Schedules, Configuration Attributes, Approval Processes, Quotes, Contracts, Amendments, Renewals, Orders.
• Understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, workflows/flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and sharing concepts.
• Good understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation suites for Salesforce applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce CPQ solutions.
• Validate complete Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) business processes.
• Test Salesforce CPQ functionalities including: Product Catalog and Product Configuration, Rules, Discounting, Pricing, Quote creation, QLE, Approvals, Contracts, Renewals, Orders, Subscription and Asset Management, Guided Selling.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Perform API and integration testing using REST/SOAP APIs and Postman.
• Validate integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems (ERP, billing, payment, middleware).
• Create reusable automation frameworks and utilities to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Execute automated regression suites and analyze results.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with Developers, CPQ Consultants, Analysts, and Product Owners to resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD integrations using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Maintain test data and environments for CPQ testing.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and release quality.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Maintain test data and test environments required for Salesforce CPQ testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and release quality.
