Job summary

Relaxo is seeking a Sales Officer in Moradabad to drive secondary sales and act as the interface between distributors and retailers, boosting market share for our products at the end user. The role requires 2-9 years of sales experience in footwear or related FMCG/FMCD sectors and a graduation.

You will support ASM in planning, resolve trade partner claims, and ensure distributor coverage and product visibility across retail outlets.

Qualifications

• Graduation from any stream is mandatory.
• 2-9 years of sales experience with exposure to Retail Sales and Distribution management in Footwear, FMCG or FMCD industry preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive secondary sales and act as interface between distributor and retailers to increase market share for our product at end user.
• Share in-demand not-in-stock details with the ASM and assist ASM in planning for primary based on demand capture of focus NPDs and focus articles.
• Management and timely resolution of the claims received by the company from the trade partners.
• Assist distributor to liquidate stock of low demand articles/sizes and follow up with distributor to ensure retailer demand fulfillment and help distributor resolve outlet service gaps.
• Share distributor market service feedback with ASM and resolve retailer complaints by investigating problems and making recommendations to ASM.
• Seek ASM counsel for resolving retailer/distributor complaints.
• Identify outlets not serviced by distributors and capture new outlets added, ensuring distributor coverage.
• Share information on prospective distributors and reporting of market working; check product availability, range, visibility and merchandising at Retail outlets.
• Ensure demand creation through product sampling for NPDs/Focus Articles and share demand information with distributors and ASMs.
• Ensure retailer awareness on company products and trade promotions through market visits and leaflets; drive distributor to purchase articles with market demand.
