Job summary

Pagaar India is seeking an experienced Petrol Pump Outlet Manager to oversee daily fuel sales operations at a busy Indian retail location. You will lead a small team, ensure compliance with IOCL guidelines, manage stock, and drive customer service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in fuel retail or similar, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to safety, reporting, and upselling lubricants and allied products.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of petrol pump/fuel retail ops.
• Strong understanding of fuel retail operations & stock reconciliation.
• Proven team management and customer service skills.
• Ability to liaise with IOCL officials and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily fuel sales operations at the outlet.
• Supervise and train outlet staff including pump attendants and cashiers.
• Monitor stock levels, dispensing accuracy, and reconcile daily sales.
• Coordinate with IOCL depot for supply, pricing updates and compliance.
• Ensure safety, licenses, and quality control standards.
• Handle customer queries and complaints to maintain service at the outlet.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
• Implement upselling strategies for lubricants and allied products at the outlet.

• Manage daily fuel sales operations and ensure smooth functioning of the retail outlet
• Supervise and train outlet staff including pump attendants and cashiers
• Monitor stock levels, fuel dispensing accuracy and reconcile daily sales figures
• Coordinate with IOCL depot for timely fuel supply, pricing updates and compliance requirements
• Ensure adherence to safety norms, statutory licenses and quality control standards
• Handle customer queries and complaints to maintain high service standards at the outlet
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for management review
• Implement upselling strategies for lubricants and other allied products at the outlet

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline
• 5 to 8 years of experience in petrol pump operations, fuel retail or similar retail outlet management
• Strong understanding of fuel retail operations, stock reconciliation and compliance
• Proven team management and customer service skills
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with IOCL officials
• Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability towards assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
