Job summary

Cloutgency is seeking a proactive Sales Intern in Chennai to help build leads, reach out to prospects, and support pitch development. You'll learn how a growth agency wins business by doing real outreach rather than theory.

You'll research target industries, craft messages for email/LinkedIn, update the CRM, and observe client calls. This is hands-on, with mentorship from the sales and founder team and a potential full-time offer based on performance.

Qualifications

• Freshers or final year students preferred.
• Comfortable with cold outreach: calls, emails, LinkedIn and DMs.
• Good spoken and written English, confident on client calls.
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Organised, follows up without being chased, and takes feedback well.

Responsibilities

• Research prospects and build lead lists across target industries.
• Support outreach via email, LinkedIn and calls under the sales lead's direction.
• Help prep pitch decks and proposal documents for client meetings.
• Maintain and update the CRM or lead tracker accurately.
• Sit in on client calls and pitches to learn the process firsthand.
• Follow up with prospects and flag hot leads to the team.
