Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Mumbai is seeking an Associate in the Loan Deal Implementation, WoCA team, to manage supplier onboarding and contract documentation. You will coordinate with program managers and suppliers to ensure timely onboarding and accurate legal vetting, while contributing to process efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3-4 years lending experience, MBA or Law degree, and fluency in English plus German or other EU languages.

Qualifications

• MBA/Law Graduate with min 3-4 years lending experience.
• Experience in legal documentation vetting and customer service; fluency in English and German preferred.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity while applying responsible use of data and outputs.

Responsibilities

• Work with key bank teams on supplier onboarding processes to ensure onboarding within SLA.
• Create standard supplier contracts and contracts with limited complexity.
• Accompany the technical implementation of new suppliers from start to finish.
• Participate in discussions with customers and stakeholders to inform onboarding status or questions about contract documentation, with guidance from Client Service Specialists.
• Handle client complaints competently, including escalations of recurring incidents.

Job Description: Job Title- Loan Deal Implementation, Associate Location- Mumbai, India

The Working Capital (WoCA) team has an Overall responsibility for managing the Financial Supply Chain Program across the Global locations. The WoCA team looks at the Supplier Finance Onboarding and Repapering Legal documentation and the Static System set-ups for all the suppliers. The team liaises with the Program Managers and the Suppliers for finalization of the Contract and Legal Documentation. The Client Service Officer is focused on providing excellent customer service and customer-oriented solutions with respect to the Legal Documentation and system operations for suppliers. It supports suppliers independently, proactively, and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction, while providing guidance to Suppliers and Program Managers. It provides feedback and best advice to team members, as appropriate, so that individual and shared performance reflects current and meets the future requirements of the bank. In some cases, it assists the Supplier Program process by connecting with suppliers, liaising with Program Mangers and operations departments to provide information to meet internal guidelines and external legal/regulatory frameworks.

Your key responsibilities

• You work closely with key teams within the Bank throughout the supplier on-boarding processes to ensure suppliers are on-boarded efficiently and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• You create standard supplier contracts and supplier contracts with limited complexity.
• You accompany the technical implementation of new suppliers from start to finish.
• You participate in discussions with customers and stakeholders to inform them on the on-boarding status or to answer questions about contract documentation, with guidance from Client Service Specialists for customized/ negotiated contracts.
• You handle client complaints competently, including escalations of recurring incidents, with guidance from Client Service Specialists.

Your skills and experience

• MBA/Law Graduate with min 3-4 years lending experience.
• Experience in a legal documentation vetting and customer Service Spoken and written fluency in English and in one or more EU languages, preferably German Distinctive flexibility and ability to produce work results of the highest quality under time pressure and while prioritizing Tech savviness and good knowledge of MS Office applications Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, also in multi-cultural work settings.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
