Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a SailPoint Developer/Senior SailPoint Developer to join the global Cybersecurity Engineering & Assurance team. You will lead IdentityIQ deployments, build connectors, and implement robust IAM features across lifecycle events, RBAC, and approvals.

You will collaborate with security operations and IT teams to optimize processes, produce dashboards, and ensure governance controls. Strong IAM expertise and Java-based development are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields.
• Professional SailPoint credentials such as Identity Security Administrator, Identity Security Engineer and IdentityIQ Engineer are desired.
• 2-8 years of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ administration, design, development, testing, configuration, integration and deployment.
• Hands-on expertise in onboarding applications in SailPoint IdentityIQ using both out-of-the-box and custom connectors.
• Strong experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ workflows, lifecycle events, approval processes, rules, forms, tasks and customizations.
• Strong knowledge of IAM best practices including Joiner-Mover-Leaver automation, RBAC, birthright access, user provisioning/deprovisioning.

Responsibilities

• Work with the global Cybersecurity Engineering & Assurance team to implement security standards.
• Administer and maintain Cornerstone’s SailPoint IdentityIQ platform and develop innovative solutions.
• Analyze complex requirements, security policies, standards and operating procedures.
• Engage in SailPoint deployment activities: connectors, rules, workflows, integrations.
• Implement IAM features: self-service automation, password management, lifecycle workflows.
• Develop test plans, execute tests, review audit logs and resolve IAM issues.
• Maintain LCM workflows like joiners, movers, leavers and custom workflows.
• Perform root-cause analyses for problems and exceptions.
• Create requirements specs, solution architectures, user guides and support docs.

Title: SailPoint Developer/Senior SailPoint Developer

Position Summary:

The global Governance, Risk and Assurance team is

responsible for maintaining compliance with enterprise cybersecurity control

frameworks, policies and procedures. The team is part of the global

Cybersecurity Engineering and Assurance organization at Cornerstone OnDemand.

The SailPoint Developer plays a critical role in

supporting the identity security strategy and vision of the Cybersecurity

Engineering & Assurance team, and reports into the Associate Director of

Cybersecurity & Assurance. In this role, you will be the SailPoint

IdentityIQ subject matter expert with a broad understanding of Identity & Access

Management (IAM) processes and implementations. Cornerstone uses SailPoint IIQ for

automated governance of its access control mechanisms covering areas such as account

lifecycle management, role-based access control, access recertifications, and

more.

This role focuses on development of new features

and integrations based on changing business and cybersecurity requirements, as

well as continuous maintenance of the platform. You should have a solid working

knowledge of IT systems and technologies and enjoy working collaboratively

across teams. This position requires constant interaction with operations and

security teams to comprehend requirements, build innovative solutions, optimize

existing processes, ensure continuous effectiveness of the SailPoint’s IAM

governance controls, and produce metrics, scorecards, reports and dashboards periodically.

In this role you will…

• Work closely withthe global Cybersecurity Engineering & Assurance team to implementsecurity standards across the organization.

• Administer andmaintain Cornerstone’s SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, and develop innovativesolutions to fulfil business requirements

• Analyze complexrequirements, security policies, standards and operating procedures to devisebest-in-class solutions.

• Actively engage inall SailPoint deployment activities such as connector configurations,custom rule development, workflow configuration and development, andthird-party system integrations.

• Implement robustIAM features covering self-service automation, password management, lifecycleworkflows, and configuration of various roles and access control policiesin SailPoint.

• Ensure optimum qualitycontrol and assurance, such as developing and executing test plans and scripts,performing audit log reviews and investigations, and resolving exceptions fornew and existing IAM solutions.

• Administer andmaintain LCM workflows like joiners, movers, leavers and other customworkflows to support critical IAM automations.

• Perform thorough root-causeanalyses for identified problems and exceptions as needed.

• Create andmaintain comprehensive requirements specifications, solutionarchitectures, user guides, FAQs and support documentation.

• Strong knowledgeof Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices includingJoiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) automation, RBAC, birthright access, user androle provisioning/deprovisioning, entitlement management and periodicaccess recertifications.

• Strong understandingof IAM security principles, including least privilege, access governance,segregation of duties (SoD), compliance, and audit requirements.

• Proficient in softwaredevelopment methodologies using Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets,SQL, PowerShell and XML.

• Experience workingwith Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, LDAP, HRMS, DBMSand SaaS applications.

• Experience in integratingITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira with SailPoint IdentityIQ.

• Experience introubleshooting and performance-tuning of SailPoint IdentityIQ, includingaggregation, provisioning, workflows, database queries, scheduled tasks,and connector-related issues.

• Strong knowledgeof SailPoint debugging, logging, task monitoring, error analysis, andproduction incident management.

• Experience withBitbucket, Splunk, Thycotic/Delinea, Entra ID, AWS and Azure technologies isan advantage.

• Proficient inMicrosoft 365 tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint with mature dataanalysis, documentation, articulation and presentation skills.

• Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
