Qualifications

• Any Graduate with Diploma in Industrial Safety and 4+ years of safety experience.
• Knowledge of safety policies and statutory compliance.
• Ability to implement and monitor safety programs at plant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to safety policy and plant procedures across operation of the plant.
• Coordinate safety statutes and government clearances from applicable acts such as Factory Act.
• Organize periodic safety committee meetings in keeping with status and policy.
• Advise departments on measures necessary for effective control of personal injuries.
• Check and evaluate effectiveness of actions to prevent personal injuries.
• Carry out plant safety inspections to observe work practices and advise on improvements.
• Provide detailed reporting of major and minor accidents to the factory manager.
• Ensure MPCB and DISH regulatory compliance in coordination with HR.
• Maintain work permit system.
• Conduct mock drills and report making.
• Compile customer safety requirement reports.

Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work. To ensure that the company is in compliance and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• To ensure compliance to safety policy and procedure across operation of the plant.
• To ensure compliance to safety statutes and facilitate necessary safety clearances from government agencies basis applicable acts such as factory act.
• Organize periodic safety committee meetings in keeping with the status as well as company policy.
• To advise the concerned departments in planning and organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries.
• To check and evaluate the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries.
• Carrying out plant safety inspections in order to observe physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedures followed by workers and render advice on measures to be adopted for removing unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe action by workers.
• Provide detailed reporting of both major and minor accidents to the factory manager.
• Responsible for compliance of MPCB and DISH regulations in coordination with the HR Dept.
• Maintain work permit system
