Job summary

• Diploma or degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, or Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in work-at-height activities preferred.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, fall protection, and permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all workers.
• Monitor and supervise work-at-height activities, scaffolding, ladders, lifelines, and fall-protection systems.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training for employees and workers.
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take corrective action.
• Prepare safety reports, inspection checklists, permits, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company safety requirements.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and workers to maintain safety standards.
• Monitor work permits, especially for height, hot work, confined space, and other high-risk activities.

Job Description – Safety Officer

Position: Safety Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment at our project sites. Candidates with experience in work-at-height activities will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety / Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, civil, structural repair, or industrial projects.
• Experience in work-at-height activities is preferred.
• Good knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding safety, PPE, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong communication and site-management skills.
• Ability to identify hazards and take quick corrective action.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.

Preferred Certifications

• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent safety certification.
• Valid Work at Height / Scaffolding Safety training or certification will be an added advantage.
