Job summary

Tata Steel Colors is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee EHS practices on construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client SOPs. The role requires independent coordination with vendors, customers, consultants and field teams, with focus on lifeline safety at height and risk mitigation.

Candidates should have a NEBOSH Diploma or Post/Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage 100+ manpower across multiple vendors in

Qualifications

• Diploma with NEBOSH or higher in Industrial Safety.
• Experience with EHS standards and client SOPs.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to EHS Standards of Tata Steel Colors and adhering to client based SOPs.
• Conduct Daily ToolBox Talk, HIRA, JHA, SWMS.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Provide training and guidance on safety procedures to employees.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Daily focus audit (Lifeline, PPEs, RFA and share the reports to all thru mail).
• Prepare the Monthly MIS Report and Monthly Audit Plan.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a safe working environment.
• He should vigilant on 3 layers(Lifeline, RFA, FBH) of safety protection system working at height.

Job description

Job Overview:

Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role in the construction or infrastructure industry. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards,including relevant laws and industry best practices. He should ensure Envionmental, Health & Safety practices at Construction Projects responsible for working closely with Vendors, Customers, Consultants and other team members of construction project etc.

Qualification:

Diploma with NEBOSH/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety /Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from JNTVTI

Experiences:

Proficiency to work with MS Office etc. ability to handle a project independetly of 100+ manpower with multiple vendors. Ability to work in harsh condition of Steel Plant, Power Plant and coal handling plant etc. Ability to Climb minimum 50 Mtrs. And Maximum to 90 mtrs. On regular basis for roof inspection/Audits.
