Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our manufacturing facility. You will take complete charge of maintaining a Zero Accident workplace, implementing the environment, health, and safety (EHS) systems, and keeping our plant fully compliant with the Factories Act, 1948 and Gujarat Factories Rules, 1963.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Management: Handle complete plant-level documentation and maintain statutory safety registers to meet DISH Gujarat and GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board) norms.

Hazard Control: Perform periodic Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) across production floors.

Permit to Work (PTW): Issue, audit, and strictly monitor work permits for high-risk operations (e.g., Height Work, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety).

Incident Investigation: Actively lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any near-misses or incidents, and establish Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

EHS Training: Deliver routine safety inductions, tool-box talks (TBT), emergency response training, and organize periodic fire/mock drills.

Safety Culture: Audit internal PPE usage, test firefighting infrastructure, and assist during external ISO 45001 / Safety Audits.

Required Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or B.Sc.

Certification: Must hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) or Advanced Diploma (ADIS) from an institute approved by Technical Education Board / DISH Gujarat.

Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English and Hindi, along with working knowledge of Gujarati (Statutory requirement for handling worker training and inspectors).

Industry Experience: Prior plant-floor safety exposure in Engineering, Chemical, Foundry, Pharma, or FMCG production setups.
