Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS specialist to implement and continuously improve environmental, health and safety systems in a pesticide manufacturing facility. You will ensure statutory compliance, process safety, and a safe workplace throughout operations.

The ideal candidate has a BE/B.Tech or diploma in industrial safety, 3–7 years of EHS experience in chemical or related industries, and a track record of leading risk assessments, permit management, training, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial Safety.
• Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred.
• 3–7 years of EHS experience in chemical/agrochemical/pharma or hazardous process industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Factory, Environment, Fire, PESO and other EHS regs.
• Manage legal registers, licenses, permits, renewals, and submissions.
• Conduct HIRA, JSA, risk assessments, HAZOP, MOC, and chemical safety reviews.
• Implement PTW, LOTO, hot work, confined space, work-at-height, contractor safety.
• Conduct inspections, audits, incident investigations, and CAPA tracking.
• Ensure emergency preparedness, firefighting systems, and mock drills.
• Monitor occupational health programs, PPE compliance, and industrial hygiene.
• Support environmental compliance and hazardous waste management.
• Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• Prepare EHS MIS, dashboards, KPI tracking, and audit documentation.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Factory, Environment, Fire, PESO, and other applicable EHS regulations.
